Our parish was established on 4th May 2024 at Twin City, Tweed Heads, and is part of the Asia-Pacific Region and the worldwide Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Communion.The initial gathering was on 23 February 2024 under the leadership of Rev.Fr.SINU JACOB via virtual platform.Under his pastoral care and leadership, we conduct Holy Qurbana on second Saturday of every month and also on all other Feast days to fulfill the spiritual needs of the parishioners.St. Mary's Church is situated in NSW before crossing the border into Queensland.
This church is under the Episcopal Jurisdiction of the ASIA-PACIFIC ( Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia) Diocese of the
Indian (Malankara) Orthodox Syrian Church, whose Primate is the Catholicose of the East and the Malankara Metropolitan, residing at the Catholicate Palace, Devalokam, Kottayam - 686038, Kerala, India.
Current Status of Worship(NSW time):
Holy Qurbana - Second Saturday of every month (9am to 11am)
Sunday School - 11:15am to 12 Noon
